Are you from Colorado?
While I am a Colorado native, I spent the majority of my childhood in Austin, TX, and also lived in California. I have always considered Colorado to be home and was excited to move back after spending several years in the desert of Southern California.
What are your hobbies?
Living in Colorado coincides with many of my favorite hobbies, including skiing, hiking, fly fishing, and reading a good book for hours on a sunny patio.
What is your favorite movie?
My favorite movie is PS I Love You, which is probably why Ireland is the first place I’d love to visit once we get through this pandemic together. My younger sister also lives there, and it is hands-down my favorite place to visit.
What fact about you surprises people?
It often surprises people that, in addition to my people-based professional experience, I also am well-versed in animal behavior and have had the opportunity to train a variety of animals, including cheetahs, grizzly bears, and jaguars.
Who is your hero?
As an animal lover, it comes as little surprise that my hero is Sir David Attenborough. I grew up watching his nature documentaries and find his unwavering passion and dedication to our planet and the animals that call it home extremely humbling and inspiring. We also have the same birthday!
